My name is Chet Rutledge and I’m 31 years old. I’ll tell you what this ministry is to me, it’s opened up a whole new world for me and a new life as well. This ministry is a school if your willing to learn the steps it teaches to further your imagination as Bryan says. It allows you to see who God really is and how God really works. It reminds me each day that Christianity is a family and more than just a friendship. It’s a bond. The minute you speak to someone out here you recognize that Christianity is the feeling you get. I graduated from John 3:16 in 2006 and I’m from Newport Ar. I was an alcoholic by the world’s standards and did lots of other drugs of course. I was very confused but alcohol was the one thing that got me. I still have trouble form time to time recognizing that I used to be like that and who I was. I can’t escape that. You know… I like that and praise God for that reminder because it’s a sting that keeps me on track and that I need to be very careful in the world. I am now enrolled at Harding University working on a bachelor’s degree in Ministry & Bible. I plan to finish there in December of 2009. I am preaching on the side at a small church in White hall, Ar. It has given me the opportunity to develop and compose sermons and deliver them just as I compose and deliver a song. I hope to go on to Graduate school after I get my Bachelor’s degree to get a Master’s degree in Divinity so I can further my knowledge of Jesus Christ and learn more about God and his nature & character of what he wants me to do. I know he wants me to serve but, I’m still not sure of what I am capable of doing but I don’t think there are any boundaries in what I can do. I’ll just continue to push and press just like what I preached on this morning in John, chapter 5. More Testimonials |
